"If you're dead-set on getting this game and are just here to read about the differences between the PS3 and 360 versions, I'm happy to help. Although the 360 has pop-in textures and framerate issues, the problems are worse in the PS3's take. The shadows are jagged, I saw lots of screen-tearing, and I could even see the seams of some of the rooms. Standing still, the game still looks decent, but in motion it gets herky-jerky. Plus, there's this weird freeze frame right before you die in ...
That is some nasty and retarded sh*t you wrote in there.
I blame them, they have to agree to the titles being produced and such... and these crappy titles also come with the "official" Nintendo seal (formerly known as Nintendo Seal of Quality)
They weren't reviewed by the same person, that will explain the difference as there is no comparison between the two.
360s had a high attach ratio ever since it launched, so your "oh but its been out longer" point is moot. I blame the 360's high attach ratio to Achievements and Xbox Live... especially the former has a lot to do with people buying games.
Too bad the PS3 is outsold by the 360 almost 4 to 1 in NA, a way larger market than Japan.
Sony and Microsoft make money not by selling hardware, but by selling software. In fact, sony still loses money on every PS3 sold, not the same case with MS and the Xbox 360.
Well, Mass Effect after one day of sales debuted at 16, while Uncharted after the same time debuted at 23. To me, they are both flops (1st day sales constitute 50% - 70 % of total first week sales, rule of thumb). We will see how much Uncharted drops after next week to have a more accurate comparison.
That aside, the 360 had 11 titles in the top 40 while the PS3 had only 5. I don't see anyone commmenting about that.
Bladestar...
Dejate de cagadas... y si no te gusta el PS3 me puedes chupar el pajarito junto con las bolitas por favor.
Forza is on the list because all new Pro + Elite 360's are being bundled with it. (I'm a 360 fan btw)
I've noticed you have done a 180 degree turn from being a rabid Sony fanboy to a more "objective" type of gamer. My props to you... and don't mind the disagrees... those will always exist.
Well, 360 version for me since I want the whole experience with the episodes. And save that "RROD" joke, I am playing on a brand new 360 and have no fears of that.
Except that the "counting" here is done by vgchartz not by Microsoft... you dumbf*ck.
Taking over 1 billion dollars in losses to fix the problem is not having "to worry about it"... right...
Agreed... this game has lost hype big time and I don't know why. Seems so different from the great Playstation 2 GTA days.
What a lot of dim-witted fools here... how can you say the PS3 will catch up to the 360 by fall next year, when it is approximately 7 million units behind worldwide??? It would have to outsell the 360 by over 600,000 a month WW to even consider catching up.
The sad truth.
I think 1up over-exaggerated the PS3 Orange Box's flaws when they did their preview... I definetely don't think it can be that bad. However, the PS3 version remains the inferior version when compared to the 360 and PC one.
The game is glitchy on both the 360 and PS3, but it does not freezes on the 360 as far as I'm concerned.
Your Xbox must be dying. This game hasn't frozen on me or my buddies at all (360 version).
Loving it???... Joke post maybe? Seriously I hope 3rd party offerings / multiplats make up for the lack of games on Q1 2008.
